Lesson 4 - Juxtaposition

Maybe you don't understand it but actually you do see this in your daily life. It an arts that placing two object, text or picture in side by sides. It must synonymous with contrast.

Above are the "LOST" series where my lecturer choose to explain about juxtaposition. Lost often uses juxtaposition to further develop the storyline or characters - it is applied variously to opposing emotions, abstract concepts, character traits/values, or images.

Random juxtaposition refers to the stimulation of creativity in problem solving, design or other creative pursuit by confronting two unrelated concepts or objects, usually the goal or problem to be solved on the one hand and a randomly selected object or concept on the other. Similar to an oxymoron.

Lesson 3 - Mind Mapping

This is example of mind map..

Mind Map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas and many more. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid in study, organization, problem solving, decision making, and writing. Mind maps encourage a brainstorming approach to planning and organizational tasks.

..

Below are the logical mind map on "mortar and pestle"

When we do exercise in class, my lecturer show me this mind map (above) and asking the student to draw on paper from that mind map. So this what i came out..

Lesson 2 - Novelty, Creativity, Innovation and Invention

NOVELTY
Novelty? Hm..is a quality of being new. OK, let make it easy. It like fresh idea of your own or it never done before. More like you introduce new things :D

CREATIVITY
Creativity?? It's a proses when you generate the new ideas or concept into reality. You can refer on LESSON1.

INNOVATION
Innovation? From my understanding, you improve the old idea to new one. Make it a better ways..

INVENTION
Hm..

Lesson 1 - Defining Creativity

What is creativity? Creativity is proses when you generate the new ideas or concept into reality.

Creativity requires passion and commitment. Why those a needed? for example if you have an ideas or something new, but you don't act on them that means you just imagine it but not creative.. so the idea are useless.. It should seen by others how you make it creatively or how you wanna to show the impression. Of course it must definately different and never seen before. That are creativity.
